2. Ensure editorial decisions are not discriminatory based on the author's race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology.
3. Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts under review.
4. Not using rejected manuscripts for personal gain and returning them to the authors.

Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
1. Assisting editors in objectively evaluating the suitability of manuscripts, supported by clear scientific arguments.
2. Ensuring manuscripts are free from plagiarism, duplication, fabrication/falsification of data, and recommending improvements if necessary.

Responsibilities of Authors
1. Submit original manuscripts, the result of honest thinking or research, and avoid plagiarism, duplication, and data manipulation.
2. Ensure the authenticity of manuscripts and cite sources completely.
3. Ensuring no double submission (submitting manuscripts to other journals during the evaluation process at J-GERS).
4. Agreeing to manuscript editing as long as it does not alter the substance or main ideas.
5. Assuming responsibility for the content of the published manuscript.
