The IMEJOUR journal ensures long-term digital preservation and access to its published content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). Developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), the PKP PN provides a reliable preservation infrastructure specifically designed for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). Utilizing the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, this network enables decentralized and distributed preservation, ensuring perpetual access to the original, unaltered content of the journal.

The PKP PN is particularly beneficial for journals that are not included in other digital preservation services such as CLOCKSS or Portico, thereby safeguarding their content for future accessibility. For more information on the PKP Preservation Network, readers are encouraged to refer to the high-level overview.

This journal operates using Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open-source journal management and publishing platform developed and supported by the Public Knowledge Project, and released under the GNU General Public License.
