Pembuatan Press Dies Proses Blanking dan Piercing pada Handle Tanam Pintu Geser

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat press dies yang meliputi pembuatan top base, bottom base, punch holder, stripper plate, backing plate, spacer plate cf1 & cf2. Press dies ini termasuk dalam kategori progressive dies karena mampu mengerjakan lebih dari satu proses dalam satu langkah kerja. Proses yang dapat dikerjakan oleh press dies ini adalah proses blanking dan piercing. Metode yang digunakan untuk membuat press dies adalah dengan melakukan pengecekan gambar kerja terlebih dahulu kemudian mengidentifikasi alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan. Bahan yang digunakan antara lain baja ST37 dan baja SKD11. Alat-alat yang dibutuhkan antara lain mesin bandsaw, mesin frais, mesin surface grinding, mesin wire cut, mesin harden, dan alat ukur. Setelah semua alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan sudah siap, langkah selanjutnya adalah pengerjaan permesinan dan perakitan. Press dies telah diuji kemampuan pemotongannya terhadap material handle tanam pintu geser dengan menggunakan mesin press berkapasitas 25 ton. Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa press dies mampu memotong material dengan tingkat presisi hingga 0,03 mm, dengan waktu siklus rata-rata 12 detik per proses. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ini cocok untuk produksi masal komponen dengan presisi tinggi.
