Abstract

Increasing the complexity of project or construction management that is effective and wise can help prevent various project problems such as cost wastage, poor quality, fatal errors, delays in completion and avoiding legal consequences such as fines or other civil suits. The involvement of all stakeholders in the process of proactive civil construction project management interests in the future is needed to implement smooth and successful projects. This community service (PKM) focuses on literacy in the form of socialization of construction management planning. The socialization of construction management planning is an injection of knowledge for students of SMKN 3 Depok regarding the importance of planning and controlling available resources, especially in the scope of civil engineering construction. The method used in this community service activity is to provide socialization about construction planning, working on questions, practice and discussion. The participants who attended were 68 students and 2 teachers and this activity was carried out face-to-face. The results show that with the socialization of construction management planning knowledge, students become more sensitive to the importance of planning, management and implementation and students are able to apply it in internship or work situations. In addition, it strengthens planning management skills in the ever-growing industrial development.
