Abstract

This community service project intends to offer solar panel systems as a renewable energy source to pupils at Yapemri High School in Depok. This introduction is motivated by the increasing demand for electrical energy and the low level of understanding among the community, especially students, regarding the potential of renewable energy. The implementation methods include interactive counseling, demonstrations of how solar panels work, and simple practices in installing miniature solar panels The exercise resulted in an increase in participants' comprehension of the fundamental ideas of solar energy, its environmental benefits, and the possibilities for utilizing this technology in everyday life. This activity also motivated students to innovate in the field of clean energy. Overall, this program contributed to increasing renewable energy literacy in secondary education.
